Celebrating all things Spring, Spring Social is a 4 day festival where Art, Food and Music collide, held at the iconic The Galeries, George St, Sydney. Underneath a contemporary installation of Cherry Blossoms, enjoy pop up gigs from your favourite emerging artists, special Spring themed menus, and the best pop up stalls in Sydney.
The inaugural SPRING SOCIAL will run over four days from Thursday 24 September – Sunday 27 September 2015 showcasing The Galeries’ versatility as both an evening and weekend destination. SKYBLOSSOM, a large scale art installation will takover the central void to launch the festival, setting the scene for a bustling market place of speciality pop-ups, bespoke flavours and a slew of store deals that celebrate the art, music, food and fashion that Spring has to offer. Spring Social is on Day and night, weekday and weekend; mark the dates with your friends: its time to discover and play.
Also popping up for the first time is The Feather Tribe, an artisan homewares store, appealling to the niche homemaker and trinket lover. The Feather Tribe was born out of a love for all things fun and crafty. Founder Jess and her Piñata sidekick Barry work hard to promote and support modern day artisans and their crafts. Their aim is to provide exceptional service, unique hand finished products and a friendly site to buy them from. They also hope to spark your creativity by giving you interesting things to look at on their blog while also bringing to your attention some amazingly talented people who just love to create! This is such a wonderful way to see, play and be inspired first hand by the gorgeous products at The Feather Tribe.
