Glasshouse Terrariums - The Art Series...
I love love love indoor grennery if you didn't already know and I am so happy to show you the new Art-House Series - a collaboration between Glasshouse Terrariums and Rachel Bainbridge Art. Taking nature and art to the next level they have brought together on trend terrariums, kokedama moss balls and airplants with contemporary original resin art.
The series is the brainchild of Sarah Triolo of Glasshouse Terrariums and Rachel Bainbridge of Rachel Bainbridge Art, two young Melbourne mothers with a shared passion for style and quality. The women have joined forces to create a range of beautiful pieces of art and living greenery for the home that are all unique and can be custom-designed to incorporate individual colour schemes.
According to Sarah, terrariums and indoor plants that require minimal maintenance have become very popular in recent times reflecting the space-limited and time-poor life many of us lead. In keeping with this, the new series offers stylish pieces of art that house easy to care for plants that don’t require a “green thumb” and take up minimal space.
“Resin art is water resistant which is an important quality when being used with plants and the sleek glass-like finish is the perfect complement to a terrarium range” said Sarah.
“Our Art-House Series currently consists of both a monochrome collection and a pastels collection with various resin art hanging platforms, a modern take on the vertical garden using resin artwork to hold airplants, resin art trays as bases for kokedamas and hand painted resin terrarium bases. We have created pieces that are fresh and original and full of heart. We would be proud to have these in our homes and we hope our customers feel the same” she said.
“We feel proud that each piece is completely handmade by ourselves, and that every piece we offer is unique. We both feel very strongly about creating something that is of high quality and sustainable so that customers are buying a product that is made to last” concluded Sarah.
I was super lucky and received the below Kokedama resin art tray with the most beautiful Devils Ivy... It is superbly made, lush and green and is a lovely addition to my home, now to pick a spot for him to live!
