Inside The Albert Park Project - with GlobeWest
I have been the biggest fan of GlobeWest for as long as I have been interiors obsessed and they are my absolute go-to for all things interiors and furniture! Why? Their collections are extensive and stunning, there is a style for everyone, the furniture is of the highest quality, they go above and beyond to help you create the space of your dreams and I just love their design aesthetic, it is contemporary Australian in the best way possible!
And that comes in handy because both Matt and I love minimal contemporary interiors. We believe that less is more when designing and styling our own home. The intention is to create a house that is aesthetically pleasing, has great bones, is refined and one in which the furniture, art and decor are complementary to the interior design scheme.
We design our own homes to have a pared-back interior aesthetic which highlights and compliments the use of natural materials such as timber and stone which we favour throughout our builds. I would like to think that our styling is timeless, contemporary and reflects us and our family. Our home is filled with things we love, a collection of items that show who we are, tells our story and is aesthetically pleasing of course!
We are so lucky to have been able to fill our home with some seriously stunning GlobeWest pieces. The Linea kitchen stools came with us from our last house and they work so well with our new kitchen, they are so versatile and so timeless. I truly believe that choosing each furniture item with a lot of thought for that specific space is really important, because you want your furniture to be with you for a long time and be easily interchangeable from room to room or even home to home.
If I had to pick a favourite item in this house it would be the Huxley Linear Dining table. The oak is the perfect shade to compliment our interior palette and flooring, and it has a lovely feeling of lightness in the space, and it can seat 8 people without crowding the room. And because it’s too hard to pick just 1, my second favourite would be the beautiful Ethnicraft Spindle bedside tables, they are the perfect oak tone, have beautiful soft curves and the glass top adds a touch of luxury to our bedroom.
