Firstly the car… now I am definitely not a knowledgable car person and I won’t try to be one, but I will say that I was completely blown away by this car. Not only because it’s beautiful to look at, the interior is a minimalists dream come true, the tech is next level and it’s unbelievably fast (I’m taking faster than a super car fast!)… but it is also all-electric and as someone with no prior knowledge on Tesla cars, I have to say that I am a total convert, through and through!

The accomodation Clifftop at Hepburn is multi award winning and they recently took out Australia’s 2019 No. 1 Holiday Home prize and now that I have stayed there I can absolutely see why, ‘breathtaking’ is the word that comes to mind.

And what’s equally amazing is that Tesla has turned Clifftop at Hepburn’s luxury villas into Tesla ecosystems. Each villa boasts a 5KW solar system and Powerwall – Tesla’s home battery system designed to enable self-consumption of solar power and reduce reliance on the grid – and of course it also has a wall connector to enable charging of their all-electric cars.

Clifftop at Hepburn is the perfect base for exploring historic Hepburn Springs and neighbouring Daylesford with easy access to renowned mineral waters, day spas, antique shopping, hiking and fine dining. And in true Tesla fashion, while out and about we could seamlessly monitor and automatically manage the Powerwall, solar panels, and the car with the MyTesla app, and once we arrived back at the villa we could plug the car in to charge with literally the click of a button!

Fun fact? Our whole weekend experience, both on the road and at Clifftop at Hepburn was fully sustainable, powered 100% by the sun, how amazing is that?!
